Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data GP collects, how we use it, and your rights as a user.
We collect information you provide directly: your name, phone number, email address, country of residence, and optionally a government-issued ID document for transparency purposes. We also collect transactional data (trips posted, packages sent, delivery history) and usage data (app interactions, device type, and IP address).
We use your information to operate the GP platform, facilitate package deliveries, process payments, review submitted ID documents for appearance, display your public profile to other users, and send you notifications about your deliveries. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We share your name, rating, and general profile with other users as needed to complete a delivery (e.g., a Sender can see a Traveler's profile before booking). We share data with payment processors, document storage providers, and legal authorities when required by law.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Delivery and transaction records are retained for 7 years for legal and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting support, subject to legal retention requirements.
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest) to protect your data. We limit access to personal information to employees and contractors who need it to operate the platform. Despite these measures, no system is completely secure — please use a strong password and keep your account credentials private.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. US residents may have additional rights under state privacy laws (e.g., CCPA). Senegalese residents may have rights under the CDPD. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].
The GP mobile app does not use browser cookies. We may use anonymized analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve the user experience. These analytics do not identify you personally.
GP is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us immediately and we will remove the account.
